The purpose of this note is to provide you the information necessary for you to access 630 Second for the 2023 Africa Open for Business Summit, on the occasion of the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. Please find the Summit information below:

WHAT TO BRING

  • Government or United Nations issued photo identification, such as a passport, driver’s license, or United Nations Grounds Pass.

DIRECTIONS TO VENUE

The Summit will begin promptly at 11:00 (11:00am) New York Time (GMT -4). Therefore, we strongly suggest arriving at least forty-five (45) minutes before the Summit begins.

TRANSPORTATION

You are responsible for making your own transportation arrangements to and from the Summit.

Information about transportation from the 3 major airports serving New York City can be found online at the Port Authority website or by calling Air-Ride at +1 800 247 7433 (toll free number within the United States). Uber, Lyft and Yellow Taxis can pick you up from the airport and bring you directly to your hotel or to Grand Central Station. Airport buses are readily available from the airports to Grand Central Station, and can be booked online in advance.
