A United Nations Special Event Ticket (SET) is required to access the United Nations Headquarters.
SETs will be available for pick up at the entrance of the Consulate General of Nigeria located at 828 2nd Avenue, New York, NY 10017 beginning at 13:30 (1:30pm) New York time (GMT -5) on Friday, 16 December 2022.
In order to obtain your SET, please present your Government or United Nations issued photo identification to a Event representative outside the entrance of the Consulate General of Nigeria. Please be aware that SETs will only be issued upon verification of your identity, and that you may be denied entry into United Nations grounds if the name on your government issued photo identification does not match the name on your SET.
After obtaining your SET, please proceed promptly to the United Nations Visitor’s Entrance located at 46th Street and First Avenue in order to enter the United Nations Grounds.
The Event will begin promptly at 15:00 (3:00pm) New York time (GMT -5). Therefore, we strongly suggest picking up your SET as early as possible, and allowing yourself at least one hour to clear United Nations Security.
You are responsible for making your own transportation arrangements to and from the Event.

Uber, Lyft and Yellow Taxis can pick you up from the airport and bring you directly to your hotel or to the United Nations Headquarters. Airport buses are readily available from the airports to Grand Central Station, which is walking distance to the United Nations Headquarters and can be booked online in advance.
