The National Association of Black Journalists ( NABJ)Convention’s business meetings have historically been a complex and demanding aspect for the President and leadership team, and the 2024 Chicago gathering followed suit.
Members actively participated in comprehensive discussions on financial matters, programming, and Former President Donald Trump’s invitation, asking pointed questions that required clear and direct answers.
President Ken Lemon exemplified strong leadership, displaying calmness, adaptability, and organizational expertise, effectively supported by the Bureau and National Office team.
President Ken Lemon’s leadership skills were pivotal in ensuring the success of the NABJ Convention in Chicago, which achieved a record-breaking attendance of 4200 registered members.
